This event is the premier road running event for the City of Las Vegas, promising a super-fast course perfect for hunting a personal best! The route starts at Red Rock Canyon, heading towards Downtown Summerlin and finishing at Fremont Street Experience.

Route information
The Las Vegas Marathon promises a very quick course, featuring some of the city's most famous landmarks. This point-to-point route starts at Sandstone Quarry Overlook where athletes can enjoy the sunrise over Red Rock Canyon. Athletes will head towards to the centre of Las Vegas until they reach Pavilion Centre Dr where runners turn right for a 2 mile out-n-back through Downtown Summerlin. In the final few miles, athletes take in the beautiful Arts District before finishing at the iconic Fremont Street Experience.

Get full directionsDue to the point-to-point nature of the course, all athletes are required to take official race transportation to the start line. The pickup location for bus transports will be found at the finish area. There are many paid parking options in the downtown corridor.

Expo / Registration
The Las Vegas Marathon Expo will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm at The Expo at World Market Center, South Hall. Athletes will collect their official race bib, race shirt and gear bag during the race expo.
Time Limits
Due to time limitations with the closed roads used in this event, there is a strict time limit of 15 minutes per mile, equating to a 6-hour 33-minute marathon finish time.
Those unable to maintain this pace will be taken to the finish line by an escort vehicle.
Aid Stations
There will be aid stations approximately every 2 miles along the course, starting at mile 3. Supplies include electrolyte drinks, water, porta-potties and first aid supplies. Some stations will also have muscle relief, energy gels, fruit and medical professionals.
