Route information
The fun and scenic 5k course will take runners around the beautiful Sloans lake. Runners will run clockwise around the lake itself on a concrete pathway. This course is flat and fast, making it ideal for those seeking PBs and novice runners competing in their first race. Runners will pass through a straight and flat section between 3 and 4k before finishing parallel to Stuart Street.
The Cash Dash run will take participants anti-clockwise from the 10k start/finish line towards the North area of the pond where they will pivot and turn back. This is a flat and quick route and is ideal for all levels of runners or those who would prefer to walk - it's completely down to you.

There is parking available at neighborhood streets around Sloan Lake, including W 17th Avenue, W 21st Avenue, and Sloan Lake North Parking Lot. Arrive at the parking areas by taking the W 26th avenue off the Federal Boulevard or the W 17th avenue off highway 95.

Packet Pickup
Participants can pick up their race packs on the day of the event at 9:00am. There is no advanced pickup.
Prize Envelopes
All runners in the Dash for Cash will receive prize envelopes, some of which contain cash.
Santa
Santa himself will be coming to the race event and is currently making notes on who's been naughty and nice.
Water stations
There is one water station at the start to the finish area.
Raceday Raffle
There will be a charity raffle on race-morning, please consider donating the following critical needs items: (Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables, Peanut Butter, Rice, Canned Beans, Granola, Oatmeal, Whole Grain Cereal, Beef Stew). Runners who bring 5 of these donations will be entered into an exclusive race day raffle.
Sneakers4funds
Please bring your new or old sneakers to the event for donation. These must be tied up or held together with an elastic band. All proceeds from sneaker donations will support the charity partner: Growing Home.
Awards Ceremony
The top 3 Men and Women overall will be recognized alongside the top 3 Men and Women. Per USATF Standards the categories are as follows: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
T-shirt
All racers will receive a short-sleeved tech shirt.
Santa Hat
Those running will receive a free Santa hat after the race.
Chip Timing
The race will be chip timed, with results sent electronically to participants.
Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are allowed on the course provided that they are kept on a leash.
Toilets
There are no toilets on the course.
After Party
There will be an after-party at Joyride Brewing, runners will receive a free beer deal. Please make sure to bring your race BIB with tear-off and ID.
