For a race with music in its name, there wasnt nearly enough music. I was disappointed. Good course and spectators though.

Sarasota has beautiful views no one can deny with the sunrise coming up over the Ringling bridge it makes that challenge more bearable. I wish the course had corrals. I may have just shown up too late but it took me many miles of passing people and I wish I would have started out more in the front to avoid the walkers. I couldnt believe how many people walked this race and so early on. There were fairly frequent water stops. There was one time it seems down orange avenue miles like 6-9 I wish I had at least one more water stop. The bands were great, some cute kid bands. The sign for the half marathon/ 10K split was not very evident and even though I had a rough idea of the course I wish there was someone pointing which way to go or a bigger sign. The race still needs organization, but overall I had a great time and Im doing it again next year! :)

Too many emails! It got annoying and I had to unsubscribe. Its not necessary to send out multiple emails every day! As a half marathon, it would have been nice to have energy supplements (sports beans, gu gel, etc.) at least once along the course. The course is beautiful!

Don't go out too fast and burn out on the bridge. I passed about 100 folks after mile 6 who all sprinted past me early on.

Great race! Have run it every year and plan to be back next year. But missed running thru the gardens this year.

I ended up pacing the 2-hour group and had a great time doing so, The course had multiple out and backs, but I didn't mind it at all do to the scenery changes and wonderful aid-station helpers & spectators. To top it off, the after party was a lot of fun with great music and my favorits... food & beer :)

One of the best races I have done, and I will be back (and it is not only because I got a new PB on the course).The only concern I had, and it didn't affect me personally, was that I noticed a lot fo the half marathon runners missing the turnaround point. Maybe someone needs to be posted there to make sure they turn. As it was, the 10K runners were stopping people before they got too far.

I loved the 10K course. It was challenging going over the Ringling Bridge twice, but you cant beat the views.

My worst race but nothing to do with organization. Event was great, aside from the food not being very good. Volunteers were great! Its my favorite race to do every year!
