Storm the Lake Sprint Triathlon - Duathlon - Open Water Swim

Rev up your summer with a splash of excitement at the 11th annual Hy Noon Kiwanis Storm the Lake triathlon/duathlon! We're talking a day of swimming, cycling, and running, all while helping kids through the Storm Lake Kiwanis Projects for Youth. Dive into a 600 m swim in a protected bay, pedal 12 miles around the picturesque Storm Lake, and finish strong with a 5K run. Or take on the duathlon challenge, swapping the swim with an additional run. All the action unfolds at the scenic King’s Pointe Waterpark and Resort, where each athlete will be cheered on by our yellow-vested Kiwanis volunteers.

Mark your calendars - it all takes place in Storm Lake, IA, a hop away from major cities in the region. Everything kicks off inside the King’s Pointe Resort with packet pick-up on Aug 18th. Just remember your ID and USAT card – we're all about following the rules. And about those zebra mussels in the lake – slap on some water shoes to keep your feet safe. Play it safe with COVID protocols, and don't forget, this event is officially sanctioned, ensuring a top-notch experience for everyone involved.
