Tap into the Trails is Cheboygan's call to runners and nature enthusiasts alike to discover the beauty of our local trails. Whether you're taking on the 5k or pushing yourself in the 10k, you'll experience the ease of accessing the North Central State Trail right from the heart of town, with a mix of pavement and crushed limestone underfoot. Runners in the 10k will also get to enjoy the North Eastern State Trail, with a start line buzzing with excitement at Festival Square in Downtown Cheboygan. With thorough planning alongside the local police for your safety and some roads closed for the event, you're in for an amazing day of active fun in a close-knit community atmosphere!

Please note: While enjoying the camaraderie and scenic routes, remember to be mindful of other trail users, as this is an open course. And let's keep one ear open - leave your headphones at home to stay alert. With parking facilities, restrooms at City Hall, and an incredible array of weekend activities including a kids' run and a beer festival for the grown-ups, there's something for everyone.
