Tour de Platte

After careful evaluation with our committee, partners, and community stakeholders, we have made the strategic decision to postpone the Tour de Platte to later this year.

This decision was not made lightly, but very intentionally.

As we approached the event, it became clear that rider participation was not yet where it needs to be to deliver the kind of experience this event is built for. An event that fills our communities, supports local business, and reflects the full energy of Platte County.

Rather than move forward at partial strength, we are using this opportunity to reposition the event for broader appeal and stronger turnout. This includes refining the format to be more welcoming to a wider range of riders and adjusting the route to start and finish in Wheatland, simplifying logistics while strengthening the overall experience.

These changes are designed to increase participation, elevate community involvement, and ultimately deliver a more impactful event for everyone involved.

Your entry will carry forward to the rescheduled event, allowing for expanded participation as we continue building momentum.
