Climb New York City's Corning Tower – that's 42 floors and 809 steps – and you can pace yourself, with bailout floors at 10, 20, and 31 to catch your breath, sip some water, or stop your climb. Don't worry; medics are on hand just in case, and hallways on floors 17 and 32 mix things up a bit.

You don't have to be an elite climber to join; just bring your determination and maybe your turnout gear if you're a first responder. With only 500 spots available, secure your place early to take part in this unique, heartfelt event.
