Route information
Half Marathon: Cross the Golden Gate Bridge out and back, with sweeping views of the Bay and stops at other famous San Francisco spots. The fog often makes it feel like you're running above the clouds.
5K: A scenic, beginner friendly course past the Marina. It does not cross the bridge and finishes in front of Ghirardelli Square.
Start and Finish: Start on Van Ness Ave next to Aquatic Park and finish at Ghirardelli Square.

Get full directionsParking: Limited. Garages within walking distance of Aquatic Park include Anchorage Square (542 Beach St), Northpoint Center (350 Bay St), Pier 39 Garage (2550 Powell St) and Ghirardelli Square lots. Reserve ahead on SpotHero at a discount.
Public Transit: Muni bus lines 19, 28, 30 and 49 stop near Ghirardelli Square. The M Ocean View light rail stops at Stonestown for the Expo.

Race Day Pickup: Available as a paid add-on, collected in Aquatic Park near the finish line.
Drop Off: Road closures prevent drop off at the start. Use Ghirardelli Square as your drop off point and walk a short way to the start.
Gear Check: Next to the finish line at Ghirardelli Square and Beach St, with clear bags provided.
Arrival: Arrive early to allow time for parking and gear check.
