This was my first cycling event in the UK and I was very impressed with it. Excellent, clear signage, great venue and welcoming drinks at the finish. The whole event was conducive to warm, communal atmosphere, no matter what ride you did. The weather that day helped too... :). I will be back next year.

The perfect sportive day for any level cyclists. Open to traffic course but really enjoyable. Not to mention very well stocked feed stations and friendly staff. Next year I’d like to see few more partners/sponsors gazebos and a “finish area” more attractive for cyclists and families following them. I will definitely join again next year

Good route and quiet roads, not much traffic but the road surfaces were appalling. Ruts and potholes everywhere. Needed your wits about you to avoid if you could. Feared for my wheels.Found the involvement from the organizers and atmosphere not as it us on other events but enjoyed the day out and environment ride in.Would do again but hope for some better road surface.

Is there a minimum age requirement
Madeleine Raynel

There doesn't seem to be a minimum age, but it says Entrants under the age of 12 ride free but must be entered at the same time as a paying adult. All riders under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them at all times.

Is there a minimum age requirement
UKCE
8/9/2021
Hi Kyle, Generally we don't recommend our routes to riders under the age of 8 but this is totally up to the parent or guardian of the child. If you feel the child is capable of riding the distances and elevation advertised then please use your best judgement. We regularly have riders aged 10 years and above attend our events and complete their chosen route without any trouble. For this age group, the Short distance is usually the most popular. Riders under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult (18 years or over) and riders under 12 years old ride for free. Let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks, UKCE.
