About
The Stylist Strong Women wave has been introduced to raise awareness and donations for the UN Women UK Safe Spaces Now initiative. Launched in 2020, the goal of the initiative is to make the design of public spaces, and the behaviour within them, free from sexual harassment.   Stylist's wave at the ASICS London 10k gives people the opportunity to support this important cause and call for public spaces to be safer and more inclusive for all. The event would also love you to invite male friends along to run with everyone, as it’s important that society as a whole voices the need for changes in behaviours. Join in next month and together everyone will run the streets of London for safety, for change and for freedom.

Was an amazing event, atmosphere was uplifting and the organisation fantastic with many email updates about the race prior to race day. Instructions where clear. The course itself was easy to follow and provided iconic sightseeing.

I have run the London 10k many times over the last 8 years. This year I ran with the stylist wave starting in pen G. I wasn't aware of a rousing warm up or indeed the much publicised improved entertainment; it wasn't as good as previous times. Was it because we were running in the last group?

We were waiting a long time to start in the sun and no water and by the time we started running it was very hot. There also wasn’t enough water on the course.

An amazing day! So nice to meet up with the other Strong Women cohort and everything about the race was so well thought out. I saw smiles all round all day and feel so proud to have been a part of it.

Loved the race and the party atmosphere and also the chance to chat to the women ahead of the race. One improvement if you were to do a Strong Woman wave again, is to not use the sashes as they were really hard and annoying to run with. Kept falling off and twisting, I had to give up and take it off part-way through.
