Route information

A new event around the rolling hills of Calder Vale. Both races start together, the 6k fun run goes through the village and woodland, the 15k continues round the local lanes.

Event day logistics

11:00 Races start
Make sure to arrive in plenty of time to get warmed up and to collect your race pack.
Race Packs
You must collect race packs from the race HQ on the day of the race, nothing will be posted out. Collection is from Calder Vale Village Hall. Please wear your number on the front of your shirt.
Fancy Dress
You are allowed to wear fancy dress if you wish, make sure to take care with what you choose as the race is on open roads.
Bag Drop
Bags can be left at the village hall but they will be left unsupervised during the race.
Food and Drink
There will be light refreshments available in the village hall during and after the race.
Club Runner Entry
Members of Lancaster Runner's Club will receive a discounted rate. If you pay the lower rate and are not a member of the club you will have to pay the additional balance at the registration on the day of the event.
Headphones
It is not recommended to use headphones when you run as you will need to be aware of what is around you and you must be able to take instructions from the marshals.
Toilets
There will be facilities at the venue
