Chariots of Fire September 2025

Join us for the return of Chariots of Fire and enter a team into Cambridge's ever popular charitable relay race. This unique event is your chance to run a road-closed race as a part of a 6-person relay team and raise lots of money for charity.

To the date of event has raised over £1.5m for local charities and in for 2025 the event will be in support of Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity and the fantastic work they do in caring for very ill children.

The route will start and finish on the Queen's Green, and flow approximately a 2 mile loop through Cambridge City centre, anda through some of Cambridge University's Colleges with each person completing 1 loop before handing over the baton to their next runner.

With RunThrough you can expect a friendly team of marshals to help guide you run the course and cheer you on to the finish, a lively and well-serviced event village with plenty of food and drinks option including excellent warm coffee and free goodies from our partners at the finish line after your hard effort.

Each Runner completes one lap, which is approximately 3km.
