Route information
This Half Marathon and Forbidden Fruit 5k take place at Sheppy's Cider Farm, across a closed road running route. The route will be mainly on the road but will also contain some grass and trail sections.
Cider (and water) stations will be available throughout this brilliant run that combines participants' love for running and cider. The cider will come from a variety of producers from around the UK. You will become a part of the heart of Somerset and join others like you who like to run hard and play hard.
Runners taking on the Half Marathon will receive 6 tasters on the course, and 6 at the finish. While 5k runners will receive 2 tasters on the course.
Participants are encouraged to stay after the event at the Ciderthon Village, where they can enjoy bars, music, and more.
Please be aware this is not a timed event, and you should not expect to receive a time. And while you are on course extra caution is recommended due to the challenges associated with running whilst consuming alcohol.
