Combine your love of cider and running with this spring half marathon. There is a cider taster at every mile of the course, set amidst scenic Somerset. Fitness and fun are combined from start to finish at this event, and the party continues at the finish line.
How to enter the Ciderthon Half Marathon
Ciderthon Half Marathon routes
The half marathon takes place at Sheppy's Cider Farm in Taunton, across a closed road running route. The route will be biased towards road but multi-terrain.
Water will be available at every mile of the run directly after the cider tasting station. The cider will come from a variety of producers from around the UK. The cider tasters will be 1/4 pint each (roughly!).
All runners will be required to pick up their race number from the race registration. Please remember to bring your ID and ticket confirmation.
Fancy dress is strongly encouraged and there have been some fantastic costumes over the years. Try to train at least once in your costume. Remember the winner of the best costume will receive their body weight in cider.
Anyone is free to access the Ciderthon Village at the start/finish on Longrun Meadow for bars, music and more!
Yes, at miles 1.5, 3.5, 7.5, 9.5, 11.5. There will also be toilets in Ciderthon Village at the start and finish.
