    Did the 10K in 2019

Really enjoyed this. Im usually a road runner, but this has made me want to do more trail running.
It was very wet and muddy, no surprise after all the rain, and if I did it again, I'd wear tail shoes I think!

    Definitely consider mixed terrain shoes.

There was a steep, narrow section which was very slippery underfoot. Had no grip and scratched my arm on blackberry bushes and picked up thorn in finger.

Great course, I choose wrong foot wear due to the rain but managed to scramble around., definitely trail shoes next year. A few areas had overhanging branches which you needed to run under that could have been trimmed back a little but this didn't detract from the whole race.
