Route information

Terrain: Trails Elevation: Hilly
Tackle this 35-mile ultra for a serious challenge. This undulating route will have spectacular views aplenty when you reach the top of all the hills. Starting and finishing at Chepstow Castle you will follow the Wye Valley path on the Welsh side of the River Wye to Monmouth. Following this, head onto Offa's Dyke on the English side of the Wye Valley. Finish through the 1km Tiddenham Tunnel, before crossing the Old Bridge into Wales and back to Chepstow Castle.
Total elevation gain is over 5000ft so some serious climbs on route.
There is a cut off for the Ultra runners to be at Monmouth at 3pm and a cut off at Tintern at 7.30pm as the Tiddenham Tunnel closes at 8pm.
Transport back to finish will be available for those not making Cut-offs.
There will be feed stations located at Tintern (6 miles), Redbrook 12 Miles Monmouth (16 Miles),Brockweir (22 Miles approx) and Tintern (29 Miles approx).

Aid Stations
There will be aid stations at Tintern Redbrook & halfway point located in Monmouth. Then at Brockweir & Tintern on the return route.
You are required to carry your own water and fuel
