Route information
No matter what race you enter this event will definitely test your running ability. Because the course is flat there will be plenty of chances to go faster than normal, but make sure to conserve your energy as you will be running for a long distance.
Marathon
The Marathon takes place in lanes 1-3, each lap is 400 metres long. The marathon begins at the 200m start line and will consist of 105.5 laps of the course.
Half Marathon
The Half Marathon Takes place in lanes 4-6 and is based on the lane 4 distance of 423 metres. This race will start 40 metres ahead of the finish line. Entrants will complete 49.9 laps of the course.

Make sure to arrive in plenty of time for the event as if you miss the start you will not get a chip time but only a gun time.
Track Etiquette
You must overtake on the right-hand side. If you need to walk at any point please move to the outer lanes.
Aid stations
Runners can set up their own aid stations on a table along the back straight. This must be next to lane 1 for the marathon and lane 6 for the half marathon.
Toilets
There are toilets accessible from outdoors, only a short distance from the track. Make sure to wash and sanitise your hands after using the facilities.

Does the Eastbourne Trackstar Marathon and Half allow me to qualify for Good For Age for the London Marathon?
Unfortunately, this is unlike. The London Marathon requires participants to have completed a road marathon, this event is run on a track.
Are there aid stations at the Eastbourne Trackstar Marathon and Half?
There will be tables where entrants can setup their own aid stations for the race. If you are running the Marathon please use the inner field adjacent to lane one, If you are running the Half Marathon please use the outside area next to lane 6.
