Endurancelife Coastal Trail Series – Suffolk

Questions
Natural England, the RSBP and the National Trust are but a sample of the many key-holders managing this sensitive and beautiful landscape. We are privileged to run in this peaceful and serene landscape and all those who respect their environment are welcome to join us! Extremely flat by Endurancelife standards the Suffolk 10K, half, marathon and ultra courses are quick, but we have no doubt it will become a Series favourite.

Frequently Asked Questions
At what time does the CTS Suffolk start?
Races do not have exact start times, but will start shortly after the race briefing ends. The briefing and start windows are as follows: Ultra - 8.00 to 8.30am, Marathon - 8.30 - 9.00am, Half Marathon - 10.00 - 10.30am, and the 10k - 11.00 to 11.30am. We recommend arriving at least half an hour before your race briefing starts to allow time to park and register. Registration closes 15 minutes before your briefing and start window.
What is the cut-off time for the CTS Suffolk?
There are cut-off times for the Marathon and Ultra races only. All Ultra and Marathon participants must reach CP3 (at 19.4 miles) by 14:00, and ultra runners must reach the end of the Marathon route (at 26.4 miles) by 15:00. It is worth being aware of cut-off times, but it is rare that participants miss them.
What do I need to bring to the CTS Suffolk?
All races except the 10k have mandatory kit requirements in order to ensure the safety of all runners. Your kit will be checked at some point during the event. Participants without mandatory kit will be disqualified. Mandatory kit includes a mobile phone, waterproof, hydration system, and snacks. Longer races also require runners to carry cash, headwear, a headtorch, and a whistle. For a full list see here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uRjGIrMZNnCv8sns30WUFnqRdld-fmO4DulwFW6kwSk/edit

Did the Marathon in 2018
Great course with a variety of landscapes and well organised as ever. Sand running was a tough finisher!Did the Marathon in 2018
This is one of the flattest CTS runs, but some beach sections towards the end are definitely tough on the legs. Very well organised, as always, and lots of food and water stations along the course. The atmosphere at the end of the race isn't amazing - I wish there was some music and/or a food stand or two!Did the Marathon in 2018
Amazing views, not too hilly and lots of good pubs nearby to crawl to afterwards!
