Here's what races are available for Fireworks 5k
This lapped route is mapped around the scenic Caldecotte Lake, giving runners a tranquil waterfront view on their crisp autumnal run.
Runners will run along the paths that hug Caldecotte lake. The pathways are mostly wide hard gravel, with a bike/walking surface. There are also several short parts of concrete and a few yards of grass/mud trail.

How to get there

The start location is 150 yards off of the A5, and 3 miles from M1. Look out for a windmill to guide you in the right direction.
There is a large car park at the Caldecotte Arms and Furzton, which is within a few yards of the start/finish. It is strongly encouraged to car share where possible so participants of this event do not take up too many spaces for non-running customers.
Bow Brickhill station is the closest train station to start location, situated at a 20 minute walk away.
Milton Keynes Central is approximately 4.1 miles away. Participants who arrive at this train station can ride the number 11 bus (towards Caldecotte) from the station, alighting at the stop Walton Park Roundabout North. The start location is a short 12 minute walk from there.

11:00 5k race starts
You must collect your race pack on the morning of the event. It can be collected from Race HQ, situated inside the Caldecotte Arms at Caldecotte. Please pick up your race pack at least 20 minutes before the scheduled race start.
You must be at least 18 years old on the day of the event to participate in this race.
There will be a water station available, providing water and nibbles. Runners are welcome to leave their own drinks at this station, though it is recommended to label your bottle.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for outdoor running. Road running shoes are worn by most participants of previous races. It is always best to be prepared for cold and/or wet weather, so it is recommended to bring waterproof clothing also.
Do you have secure baggage facilities at the Fireworks 5k event?
No, there will not be a secure bag drop. You may leave your bags at the start/finish as there will always be someone present, although the security of your belongings is not guaranteed. It is strongly recommended to leave your belongings in your car, with valuables kept out of sight.
Can I leave personal drinks at the drinks station for the Fireworks 5k race?
Yes, feel free to leave any personal drinks at the water stations, though you may want to label it so you know which drink is yours. Enigma Running are not responsible for runners drinking the wrong drinks.

No, there are no roads to cross on the route.

Can I wear headphones/earphones during the Fireworks 5k race?
Yes, the courses are traffic free. Though please be aware that you are running on public footpaths with the general public so make sure that you pay attention to people, children on bikes, wildlife and so on.
