Awesome venue for children, safe and well organised. It is great to get time and position straight after finishing too.

Pool swim works well! :). Open bike course is frustrating with traffic and can be quite dangerous given the residential areas. Also the run course could do without the trail run (Dodgy tree roots) but overall very enjoyable so thankyou!!

First Triathlon and really enjoyed it. Friendly inclusive environment for beginners to pro's. Swim was well organised, albiet queuing to start for 50 mins. Transition was safe and quite fun, the ride was well routed to avoid traffic lights too. And the run was grim, the mild hill felt like a 20% incline. Got the bug now, will do it again 🏊‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️🚴🏽‍♂️👌🏼

A great race which I would do again & recommend to others. Bike & run course well signposted ( run nice, varied terrain/ scenery). Maybe a more traditional approach to swim start times ( ie all the 8.20 pace swimmers inthe pool at a set time, all the 7 min a set time 4 in a specific lane) rather than the rolling start that delayed starts & had 8 mins in with 10. Not a criticism just a suggestion. 👍

Really friendly race and a great atmosphere! Swim start was a bit chaotic, I started half an hour later than planned - this could be improved for next year by starting faster swimmers first maybe? Swim itself was good - no congestion and I enjoyed the snake style swim progressing up the lanes. Cycle course was great and well marshalled. Run course was really hard! Lots of hills and uneven ground so my run was not as fast as I'd have liked. I was also surprised there wasn't a water station given the heat. Overall a great race, just a few tiny things that could have been improved

Event went well for me. Organisation of the swim was poor with a long wait time and no monitoring of actual start times. Bike route was good and well signed and marshalled. Run also good, although a little narrow and overgrown in places, as well as being hillier than advertised.

Overall very well organised. Good emails before the day which were v clear. Excellent online video of how the transition would work.Lovely cycle ride with a few undulations, and only one set of traffic lights. Run was good with a cheeky couple of hills and great views of the cathedral. The swim queue was quite long and would have been better to enforce only certain times in the queue to save on the wait.

Very well organised, great signage but I didn’t receive a medal as they didn’t have enough for everyone, which was a bit disappointing!

Really well organised with clear instructions. Great support through out. Nice course but not the hilly bit. First pool swim with a good stagger between each participant and therefore no one swimming over the top of you. Will do again next year.

Great event for beginners (like me). Lovely cycle along leafy country lanes and a challenging cross country running route. The only slight niggle was the 35 min wait to get into the pool. Still, I had a brilliant time and definitely have the bug now. Thanks 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️👊
