Route information
Run, jog or walk your way round the beautiful trails of Hampstead Heath in this wonderful event.
Runners will set off from the historic Bandstand and wind their way up to the peaks of the Heath, discovering woodland trails at the foot of English Heritage's Kenwood House along the way.
Having emerged at the top of the route, you will fly down the hill, crossing the amazing viaduct on the way, whilst catching stunning glimpses of the London Skyline. You will rejoin the main pathway for a brilliant flat finish next to the famous Parliament Hill athletics track.
The terrain will be mixed throughout and the routes will contain challenging climbs and some tough trail sections. The 5k lap will be completed twice by runners taking part in the 10k.
The 2k Fun Run will be entirely on tarmac, but will also include some challenging climbs.
All contestants will be started in appropriate waves, so whether you're an elite trail runner or a family with little ones, you will have a brilliant experience. All participants are chip-timed and will receive a unique souvenir medal as soon as they cross the finish line.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Jubilee Hall Trust's charity programmes to get more people engaging in physical activity.

Did the race in 2023
The first water stop had run out of water when I’d got there and I was ahead of a lot of people so that was a lot of people without water. It was a boiling hot day and they dragged the start out by starting late and then doing warm up in the open sun! Atleast do it under the tree if you’re going to do it so late in the morning in the blazing sun! And shoutout to the volunteer who said ‘you just lost 2 seconds for stopping at the finish line’ ???? ‘Oh because the finish line is actually 10 steps further than the finish line….’ Not cool. Make the finish line where it is supposed to be, or Atleast don’t have demoralising volunteers at the finish line - what a way to finish a baking 10k!!!
