Route information
On this guided 10k tour of Hankley Common be sure to embrace the wonderful views as you traverse the gravel pathways. There are some parts of the course which are a bit more technical. The professional guide will make sure you can overcome any challenges.
There are plenty of hills on this course making it a great challenge for keen runners. Beginners do not hesitate there will be break to admire the natural beauty of the common and to rest.
You will also visit the Atlantic Wall which was constructed for WW2 armed forces to prepare for the D-Day landings. For any film buffs attending, Hankley Common has also been the set for James Bond films as well as The Avengers.
The common's natural beauty serves as the perfect backdrop to any sunset so make sure to enjoy yourself and soak up the sunset.

If travelling from London the best train to take is the Portsmouth Harbour bound train from London Waterloo Station. Get off at Godalming Railway station, from there you can take a taxi or a bus to Hankley Common.

This is not a race and should not be treated as such. However, all entrants should be able to at least run 10-11 min/mile (6-7 min/km) and have a good level of fitness.
