Clearly there were issues getting onto the site which took over 60mins

The course was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed every step. Plenty of hills, few flat bits here and there, mixture of trail, gravel, mud.Only thing that let the event down was the organisation. Event started late due to parking issues, the feed stations ran out of nutrition-gels, could have done with an extra water station on course. Ran out of medals and the goodies that were supposed to be at the finish. No sign of any buffs either. On a good note, the runners who didn't receive a medal are being sent one and they are also sending buffs out. But no explanation to why they were not at the event as described in the LDT race description. Think £5 to park was taking advantage too.

having done many other events with yourselves i have always had a great experience, from start to finish. However the organisation of car parking, collecting numbers, not having enough food/drink supplies and the end and some people not receiving medals i didn't think was great.the course and marshals were amazing as always, just very poor organisation on this occasion, it won't put me off doing an event with yourselves again or referring your events to friends because i feel this was definitely a one off.I just felt felt bad for a few of my friends where it was their first event with you and their first half marathons but having no medal at the end probably not their greatest first experience

Overall a good event although I have a couple of comments. Registration could have been smoother / quicker. An event by DB max recently, allocated race numbers on the day by scanning a QR code on the plate when registering. This was VERY quick with no delay. Ideally a bit more trail on the route rather than fire road (although I appreciate that this may be difficult due to the number of participants).Live timing / results at the end would be good plus there was a big delay to be able to get the results via your website (a poor section of you website) and only found them on the full on sport website on the Sunday evening, which seemed like a very long time for them to be available. Parking issues delayed the start. This may have been because of different registration times for multiple events. Perhaps bring the registration closing time for each event forward more than 15minutes before the start. It's confusing to have the event run by tough runner but then send emails via let's do this. Overall I enjoy your events and think that they are well organised and this may have been an anomaly.

The race started late due to big queues accessing the venue and having to stop one at a time to pay for parking. They ran out of medals which was really disappointing for some competitors. But the race itself was a great route, well supported and good facilities.

It was a good event and a great venue but parking and registration were a shambles

I loved the new course, challenging and tough but really really enjoyable and a great finish

Appalling car park organisation - only seemed to have one person taking money , queued for over half a mile uphill , my everlasting memory will be if the smell of burnt clutch in the car park..Poor number pick up - no one thought to remind competitors by email to look up their bib numbers or have printed sheets on a board at the event ..A competitor running with a dog running loose and marshals turning a blind eye . The dog got in the way of numerous competitors..Not that it affected me but running out of medals ( and generic ones at that ) is very poor .. The course was good and the water stops fine .. The scenery was spectacular! I would do another of your events and I very much hope that it’s a happier experience than this one Kind regards Richard

Poorly organised on the day, not enough medals for everyone. Lack of water and gels along the route. And no head buffs at all, it stated on the entry that we would be receiving them as part of the entry fee.

Great event. Friendly atmosphere. A tough challenging course.
