Join 2,000 adventurers of all experience levels and ages and Walk, Jog or Run the spectacular Jurassic Coast - a World Heritage Site since 2001. A Poole Harbour start - it's on to Corfe Castle, through Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door with ups and downs all the way to the Weymouth halfway point.

For 100km challengers - it's then past Portland Bill, nature reserves, and the onto the western end of the unique Chesil Beach to West Bay's famous cliffs (of TV's Broadchurch fame) - before a welcome finish line celebration in the vibrant town of Bridport.

With Half & Quarter distance options also, and full support and great hospitality all the way - there's a challenge here for everyone!

Jurassic Coast Challenge routes

Dorset's Jurassic Coast is an amazing setting for perhaps the toughest event within the Ultra Challenge Series. A Poole Harbour start, on to Corfe Castle, and then the sharp ups & downs as the coastal path sweeps through Lulworth Cove and rises above the iconic Durdle Door en route to Weymouth - at the end of an epic 1st 'half'. A flatter 2nd half - with Chesil Beach, nature reserves, and sandstone cliffs at West Bay - before the finish in Bridport. 100km & nearly 2,700 metres of climb - a real challenge!

How much does it cost?

You must pay an initial registration fee to sign up to the challenge - the fee is paid per person and secures your place on the challenge, you are also committing to fundraise a minimum pledge for your chosen charity - 50% of which is due to be with your charity 6 weeks prior to the challenge.

Will I receive a pack from you?

No - all correspondence from Action Challenge is done by email. You will only receive purchased merchandise in the post. You may, however, receive a fundraising pack directly from your charity. If you are waiting for a pack from them, it is best to contact them directly.

How old do I need to be?

On the date of the event you must be:

Full Challenge – 18 years old

Half Challenge – 16 years old (With an adult)

Quarter Challenge – 14 years old (with an adult)

All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
