Races summary
Here's what races are available for Kenley Summer 10k and Kids Race
Route information
Elevation: Flat
Terrain: Road
This race takes place over the historic RAF Kenley Airfield, which played a significant part during The Battle of Britain in it's defence of London.
The course will be flat and fast and being on the airfield, totally traffic-free. And with local stalls, music and refreshments there will be a wonderful atmosphere.
All proceeds from this event will go to the Portcullis Club. Established in 1970 the club is a meeting place for the Kenley & Caterham branch of the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA). The clubhouse still stands in the corner of the famous airfield, where the 615 Squadron was based during World War 2.

It was a really hard run for me personally but I loved it. The Marshalls were amazing and the support was fantastic - what an amazing event!

Not the most exciting course (3.4 laps of the aerodrome), but great organisation and very friendly team running it. Would highly recommend as a starter 10 K as not too busy.

Loved the drum band it was a real mood lifter , would love more music round the other side too as it really helped take your mind off the sun beating down !

Overall a nice run. Would recommend perhaps a 2nd water station on the opposite side of the course. Also saw a few of the last runners come aftet most of the crew already moved to the finish. One of the female marshalls did return to accompany the last runner in, but might be worth leaving more crew out till all runners are done, as it helps to see a friendly face on the approach

Sweet little set up. Lovely medal. Great to have x-small tops!! No social distancing or mask wearing that we could see. We didn’t know it was a 3 lap course. The guy trying to shout instructions over the music at the start line needn’t have bothered. Poor signage but helpful public to tell us where things were. I wouldn’t do it again but it was good to run it once.

No medal for my 5 year old - so many in the same position, I’m sure this will get raised every single survey. I’d hope these will get sent out somehow.
