Here's what races are available for Land of Hope & Glory Series - Blenheim - Day 4
Terrain: Paths and Pavement
- 10k - 1 lap
- Half Marathon - 2 laps
- Marathon - 4 laps
- Ultra - 5+ laps
The 6.55 mile course will be within the Samphire Hoe nature reserve and along the sea wall. You'll go out and back along this route, returning to base camp after 6.55 miles. The terrain will be mostly smooth paths and pavement with a few pebbles to look out for.
You can complete as many or as few laps as you can within the 6 hours.
Please remember that Samphire Hoe will be open to the public and you will be sharing the paths with the public, that includes dog walkers, fishermen, ramblers and cyclists so you will need to be aware of your surroundings.

There is a car park on-site. Charges are £2.00 for an all-day ticket. Disabled badge holders and motorcycles are free.
Please note that Samphire Hoe is only reachable from the A20, via the Dover to Folkestone exit.

You'll pick up your race number on the morning of the event from the registration desk at the race base camp.
Children over the age of 11 are permitted to take part in this event so long as they are accompanied by an adult at all times and do not exceed the following distances.
- Aged 11-12 can run a maximum of 5k
- Aged 13-14 can run a maximum of 6k
- Aged 15 can run a maximum of 10k
- Aged 16 can run a maximum of 15k
- Aged 17 can run a maximum of 25k
You'll visit the aid station after every 6.55 mile lap. This will be fully stocked by the event organiser but you are welcome to leave your own on the table for runner's supplies.
There will be toilets available from 07:00 by the car park close to the start/finish area.
Headphones and Earphones
You will be able to use headphones and earphones during the 6 Hour Challenge. Please have the volume low and be aware of others you are sharing the space with.
Samphire Hoe is a great day out by the seaside. Bring your friends and family to add to the race day atmosphere and support you on the run.
Will there be somewhere to park at the Land of Hope & Glory Series?
Yes, there is a car park on-site. Parking costs £2 for an all-day ticket.
Will there be toilets at the Land of Hope & Glory Series?
Yes, toilets are located next to the start/ finish area.
When will I get my race number for the Land of Hope & Glory Series?
All race numbers will be picked up on the day from the race base camp.
Can I listen to music whilst I run the Land of Hope & Glory Series?
Yes. Please keep the volume low so you're aware of your surroundings as the space is shared with the public.

Samphire Hoe opens to the public at 07:00.
What if I can't complete the full distance I signed up for at the Land of Hope & Glory Series?
That's no problem at all. You only have to complete one 6.55 mile lap in order to finish and collect your medal. All efforts deserve celebrating.
