It would be good if you put up signs around the Marden track the week leading up to the race, so drivers could choose different routes instead of fighting for the space on the roads with the runners. I live in the area, and had I not run it myself I would have never known it was on. Just a couple of signs with what's on, the date and time. I think people living close by would appreciate it, and so would the runners.

Race started late and there was no warm-up organised. However, bag collection was good.

Hi - I have never seen a queue for registration like yesterdays in any race I have run. There were simply not enough staff to hand out numbers and chips. Staff seemed (naturally) very stressed and were shouting. Some runners nearly missed the start of the half marathon and a substantial number of the 10k runners did not have time to warm up. Also, I’ve never seen staff at water stations not handing out water. Staff at one water station was reclining in a chair looking at their phones. Finally, it wasn’t the best venue for hundreds of runners to congregate for the start and finish. Parking was pressurised. Lots could be done to improve the organisation of this event.

Did the half marathon. Very flat course where you do two laps. Roads aren't closed so you do have traffic passing but pretty quiet on a Sunday morning and never felt like an issue. Big queues to pick up a race number and chip but probably because we all turned up just after 8am.

Course was flat(,ish) with some cheeky inclines but nothing major. Good for a first 10k experience!
