Route information
Martello Rotary and Seaford Striders are joining forces for the 2024 Martello Half Marathon. As before, this will present a beautiful but tough run following footpaths and tracks up onto the Downs, before returning for a long flat run along the seafront. A great run much enjoyed by all!
This is a single-lap route that follows along the paths and trails of the South Downs. The course is gently undulating, providing the perfect level of challenge for runners of all abilities.

*Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the race to allow plenty of time to register, attach your race number and warm up.
Age Requirements
You must be at least 17 years old on the day of the event in order to participate.
Race Packs
Entrants who have entered in good time will have their race packs sent in the post 10 days before event day.
Those who have entered in the 10 days before race day will collect their race pack at registration on the day of the event.
If your race pack hasn't arrived, head to the registration desk at race HQ and you can be issued with a new one.
A full set of race instructions will be sent via email before the event.
Bag Drop
There will be a bag drop facility available at the Event Village, for runners to leave their bags while they complete the race.
