Mid Summer Jumble

Event summary

This trail running event is set in the beautiful surroundings of Roche Abbey. Profits from the day will go towards helping a local runner pay for medical treatment, making this a special event to be a part of. Come for the wonderful atmosphere, the post race BBQ and to help an amazing cause.

Grim Up North Running is an established race company that offers multi distance events on both trail and road. With several years of experience we are able to offer a wide variety of races and with a range of distances and levels of difficulty there is something for everyone.

Route description

Taking place in the surroundings of the wonderful Roche Abbey, and with multiple distances on offer, this event can be enjoyed by anyone. All the races will take in beautiful scenery and the routes will all have varied terrain throughout.

This event is being run to help local runner, Lorraine Wilby, with half of the profits going towards life prolonging medical treatment. The spirit and good will of this day, combined with the beautiful run and the post race BBQ will create a memorable event for everyone present.

Please arrive early and allow plenty of time to register and get ready for your race.

Age Restrictions

Competitors doing the Ultra must be 21 years or older, and competitors doing the Marathon, Half Marathon, 20 miles and 10k must be 18 years or older.

Cut-off Times

The cut-off time for this event is 6.5 hours.

Charity

Half of the profits for this event will go towards fundraising for life prolonging medical treatment for local runner Lorraine Wilby.

Roche Abbey is situated 20 miles east of Rotherham. From Junction 1 on the M18, take the A631 to Maltby, then the A634 towards the Abbey.
