Your organiser

The Race Organiser creates outstanding opportunities for people to bring out their best run, swim or cycle performance.

We seek out the most inspiring and rewarding locations, develop race routes and event formats, and create a brilliant atmosphere and race day experience – offered at the best possible value. We don’t think it’s ok to ask people who are aspiring to do amazing things to pay huge sums of money, so we charge as little as we can afford, rather than as much as we can get away with.

Route description

With the route starting and finishing the centre of town, morale will start high and get a boost just as you come storming down the hill towards the finish line. The race takes in some of Swindon's best attractions and landmarks, like the Grade II listed Greater Western Railway Museum and the Magic Roundabout. Footy fans will get a glimpse of the home to the infamous Swindon Town FC.

Having come third in the 2018 Running Awards for Best Half Marathon the organisers had big shoes to fill, and boy did they fill them. In 2019 New Swindon Half Marathon won Bronze in the Racecheck Awards is rated a top race in the UK.

Did the Half Marathon in 2019
The Swindon half is a good course for beginners because it is fairly flat except for steep incline in one section the event as a whole is well organised and I did enjoy it even though it was raining quite hard! probably be best to get public transport to this event if too far to walk to
