Route information
The New Forest Trail Run starts from Roundhill Campsite in the heart of the New Forest National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The route consists of wide, hard packed gravel pathways, with highlights including magnificent forests where you might be able to glimpse some New Forest ponies and deer!
The well maintained and solid underfoot trails are easy to run on in any weather and make for perfect late season conditions. The route can be described as slightly undulating / relatively flat with only a 183m elevation gain over the full 21.6k route.
