Join us for the Newbury Racecourse 5K, 10K & Half Marathon on Saturday 14th August 2027!
This popular RunThrough event returns in 2027, offering a flat and fast course at Newbury Racecourse with excellent potential for a personal best.
Choose from the 5K, 10K or Half Marathon and take on an accurately measured looped route around the racecourse. The 5K completes one lap, the 10K takes on two laps, while the Half Marathon covers four laps plus a shorter additional section.
Each kilometre is clearly marked with signposts, and our friendly team of marshals and event staff will be there to support and encourage you all the way to the finish line.
Whether you are chasing a PB, building towards a longer distance or looking for a fun summer race, Newbury Racecourse offers a great setting for runners of all abilities.

This popular event returns to the RunThrough calendar in 2027. Join us for a flat and fast 5k, 10k & HM course in Newbury with great PB potential!
Each kilometre is accurately marked out with signposts and we have a great team of helpers to encourage you on your way to the finish line! The route is a looped course, with 1 lap for the 5k, 2 laps for the 10k & 4 laps plus a mini lap for the half marathon.

Get full directionsPARKING/TRAVEL
Travel by car:
The racecourse is clearly signposted and just minutes from Junctions 12 and 13 of the M4, and is easily accessible from the M3. There is ample free parking for all competitors in Car Park 4 of Newbury Racecourse, right next to the event village. If travelling by car, please ensure you use the postcode RG14 5AW and follow brown signs to the Racecourse from all major junctions and event wayfinding signs on arrival. The above postcode will take you very close to the Racecourse, from here you just need to go over the bridge and you will arrive at the Racecourse. There will be no access possible to the Car Park from the West of Racecourse Road so please ensure you use the above directions to reach the Car Park.
Travel by train:
Newbury Racecourse has its own station, one stop from Newbury Station, with direct trains from London Paddington and regular connections from the West. When you arrive at Newbury Racecourse station, please follow wayfinding signage to access the event village.

BAGGAGE
Please limit the number of belongings you bring to the event. The car park is located close to the event village. It is recommended to leave your belongings in your car. Informal bag drop is within the event village for those who need it. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number. Tear off the strip and attach it to your bag. Leave your bag in our bag drop area which is located on the Grandstand steps just in front of our event village. Collect your bag after your race.
TOILETS
The grandstand toilets at the venue will be open for participants and spectators to use next to our event village.
REFRESHMENTS
Water Station;
5k x1 around 2.5k
10k x 6 around 2.5k, 5.5k and 7.5k
HM x8
There will be 2x provided every 2.5k of the race, followed by water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.
