About

A Tactical Test Run for the UK Ultra 100
The Night Time Ultra is more than just an endurance challenge — it's your perfect prep run for the UK Ultra 100-mile events. Covering 27 miles (43.5 km) with nearly 1,000 meters of elevation gain, this night-time group run offers the ideal environment to refine your gear, pacing, and mindset — all under realistic race conditions.
You’ll move through diverse terrain: winding trails, rolling countryside, and elevation-rich segments — all in the dark. This isn’t just about the miles; it’s about getting your body and mind ready for what night running really demands.

Fitness Levels
While you will run as a group at a pace that works for everyone, you do need to have a good level of fitness for this run. You will face some tricky climbs.
IMPORTANT
Whilst there will be sections of walking and hiking, this event is a run, the pace will be chatty and there will be no fast sections. Please only enter this run if you can run for 20 plus miles in training. If you walk and cannot keep with the group then you may need to return to the start in your own time. It is important to understand this before signing up. Insurance covers the group whilst running together, leaving the group will remove you from the cover.
