A well organised race in the current climate. The water station was much needed. It was deceiving that the course finished after the roundabout so it wasn’t nice having to then run round the back of the stadium and back again so more signage would be good as I pushed too early. The waves were not allocated correctly which made me uneasy and we were put into the wrong wave. Did not like starting on a big hill. The Marshall shouting to the crowds at the start needs a medal

First race back after the relaxing of restrictions and got to say it was well organised to maintain distancing at the start and finish. I do however think the announcer could have done with a bigger PA to make herself heard, but everyone got to the start in a timely, socially distanced manner. The rolling start was well managed but I am at a loss to see why we were all given a bid colour indicating wave and then this was dismissed to the announcer asking people to decide at that moment in time which wave they wanted to be in. (Make a plan and stick to it) but this is the only real moan. The route itself is Ok if a little dull largely made up of dual-carriageways on the edge of Northampton. Plus point lots of space to run, scenic it is not. But all in all a well organised and enjoyable event.

Only issue was only one water station which was bottled water so alot a waste and mess needs more station with just cups off water instead off bottles

The event was a great local race for me and my social running group, KisleRunners. Great experience for those that hadn’t raced before and a good challenge for those in the groupthat were going for PB!Well done Northampton10k!The Marshalls around the course were friendly, helpful and encouraging…love the tambourines! Can you advise who the two guys were who were singing & playing guitars…great sound, would like to go and hear them, they were around Swan Vally!

Was very unimpressed to be woken at 6am on a Sunday by a van parking on double yellow lines outside my house (Telford Way) and workmen banging and crashing about, talking loudly to each other as though it were the middle of the day as they threw cones down with seemingly as much noise as humanly possible. I'm all for community events but a bit of basic consideration and human decency wouldn't go amiss. 😡
