Be inspired in this 5 and 10k race through the incredible London 2012 Olympic Park. Great for runners of all levels, the route snakes around the park and passed many of the 2012 Games most notable landmarks. Come for the unique finisher's medal or for the epic backdrop.

The race starts from the unique ArcelorMittal Orbit Tower, one of the park's most unique attractions. Runners will then loop around the enormous Olympic Stadium - where Usain Bolt set his 9.63 100m Olympic record - and along the waterfront with views toward the Lee Valley VeloPark.
The route is 2.5k long - 5k runners will complete it twice with 10k participants doing it four times.
Course marshals will be stationed at all crucial points throughout the race and there are refreshment stations on the course.

How to get there

Public transport is the best and easiest way to get to and from the Park – by train, underground, bus or bicycle.
The nearest train, tube and bus stops are at Stratford, Stratford International, Hackney Wick, Pudding Mill and Leyton stations.
If you are exiting out of Stratford Underground Station – take escalator or lift up to ‘The Street’ (which is the outdoor part of Westfield Shopping Centre) – follow it along, bear right at Fountain Square toward John Lewis and then left at Jamie’s Italian. At the end of the passage, cross the road into the Park.
By Tube and Train
The nearest stations are Stratford station and Stratford International station and both provide step-free access from entrance to platform. Stratford station is served by: • Docklands Light Railway (DLR) • Jubilee and Central lines • National Rail services operated by Greater Anglia and c2c • London Overground services
Stratford International station is served by: • Docklands Light Railway (DLR) • Southeastern High Speed 1 services
You can also enter the Park via Hackney Wick station which is on the London Overground.

The 388 bus runs between Blackfriars in central London and Stratford City near the station entrance, going through the Park and stopping at the Copper Box Arena and Westfield Avenue near the London Aquatics Centre.
The 308 bus runs between Clapton to Wanstead via Stratford City near the station entrance and Celebration Avenue in East Village.
The 339 bus runs between Leytonstone and Shadwell, with stops at Stratford City near the station entrance, the London Aquatics Centre, and on Carpenters Road at King’s Yard before exiting the Park at White Post Lane.
The D8 bus runs between Crossharbour and Stratford International bus station, going through the Park including Carpenters Road and Pool Street (by the London Aquatics Centre).
Stratford bus station and Stratford City bus station are both located in close proximity to Stratford station.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the race in order to complete the registration process in good time.
*Entrants will be given further race day information closer to the time.
Race packs will be sent to entrants in the post, but if one doesn't arrive you can collect it on the day from registration. If you are collecting it on the day, please arrive in plenty of time to do so.
