Route information
Terrain: compacted gravel and grass
Route Type: Loop
This course takes participants around the beautiful surroundings of Caldicotte lake. With a simple and frelatively flat compacted gravel surface accompanying all runners and walkers throughout. There's plenty of time to take in all the wonderful sights on the course.
Participants competing in the second marathon will run anti-clockwise around the lake. Those who are running or walking the first marathon + 50k and half marathon will go clockwise around the lake.

There's a large pub car park available for all participants to leave their cars at.
By Car
Follow the A5 towards Milton Keynes and turn off onto Caldecotte Lake and find the starting area next to Premier Inn.

Age Requirements
All participants must be aged at least 18 years old to compete in the event.
Aid Stations
There will be water stations located on the course on every lap, giving plenty of opportunities for runners to receive refreshments.
Cut-off time
The cut-off time for the Marathon is 15:30 on both days, giving participants 7 hours to complete the event.
50k option
Runners have the option to run the 50k course on the Saturday Marathon if they'd like to.
Race Packs
Runners will pick up race packs on race day morning, from the Race HQ, situated inside the Caldecotte Arms at Caldecotte, the Fayre & Square at Furzton and the Cafe at Willen.
Please pick up at least 15 minutes before the scheduled race start.
