Route information
The Salisbury 10k route starts and finishes on Hudson's Field on the edge of Salisbury and runs along the road towards Little Durnford before taking a track up to the top of the hill. It is an undulating challenging course from here back towards the finish. There is one slightly narrow section when you approach Old Sarum, however the views along the whole route are superb.

Car parking is available at Hudson's Field, access via Castle Road. Please arrive early to avoid queues and please do not park in surrounding cul-de-sacs.
The nearest train station is Salisbury, which is about a 30 minute walk from the venue. Alternatively, walk into the city centre and catch the X5 bus along Castle Road, or try to carpool in a taxi with friends.

Did the race in 2019
Certainly the first race I've ever done where the warm up is primarily directed at the queue for the portaloos, which arrived with about 15 mins to go before the start time! Minimal info on the route seemed to be available on the website, so there was a surprise hill towards the end. That said - a lovely route, great atmosphere (serendaded by a brass band and choir at various intervals throughout the course), and all for a fantastic cause!
