Route information

This 54 mile route is the ultimate test of endurance and will require extensive training. This will be well worth it though for the epic, picturesque route.
The route itself will be looped, making race day logistics far easier. During the race, runners will be able to enjoy the scenic Northamptonshire country side, as they make their way through 21 separate rural villages.
Given the nature of this race, there will be strict cut-off times which are detailed below:
  • CP 1 - Sywell Village Hall (8.4 miles) - expected time 09:00 - 10:10
  • CP 2 - Main Street, Chandstone (15.6 miles) - expected time 09:40 - 11:50
  • CP 3 - Spread Eagle Pub (23.2 miles) - 14:00 cut-off
  • CP 4 - Northampton Mens Own RFC (30 miles) - 15:30 cut-off
  • CP 5 - Gayton (37.7 miles) - 17:30 cut-off
  • CP 6 - Nobottle (45.7 miles) - 19:30 cut-off
Total time to complete the 54 miles is 13.5 hours.
You can choose to run the 54 miles as a relay, or opt to just run the marathon which will be the last 26 miles of the Ultra.
Relay:
The race divides up into 7 legs (start to CP1/CP1 to CP2 etc. until CP6 to the finish). Distances in miles are 8.7/7.1/7.4/6.8/7.7/8/8.4 There are 3 options:
3 Person Relay – you will need a driver and three runners. Two members of the team will complete 2 of the 7 legs and one member 3 of the 7 legs
4 Person Relay you will need a driver (don’t forget there will only be three runners in the car plus the driver at any one time) and four runners. Three members of the team will complete 2 of the 7 legs and one member 1 of the 7 legs.
7 Person Relay you will need two drivers. Each person will run one leg
The tracker will serve as your baton and each team member will receive a medal and Go Beyond merch at the finish.

How to get there

Brixworth Country Park, Northampton NN6 9DG, UK
By Car
The race start and finish is at Brixworth Country Park which has plenty of parking and is a 20-minute drive from the M1. If using a Sat Nav please input the follow address: Brixworth Country Park, Northampton Road, Brixworth, NN6 9DG. The race organisers have permission to extend the parking time beyond the Country Park's maximum of 12 hours.
By Train
If travelling from London you can take the EMR service towards Nottingham and get off at Market Harborough, from there you can walk to the bus station at Market Hall (Stand M1) and take the X7 towards Hill Farm where the race start will be a 9-minute walk.

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the schedule race start to allow enough time to complete the registration process and for a sufficient warm-up.
Age Requirements
All entrants must be 18 or over to compete.
Bag Drop
Please keep kit in your car if possible, if not there will be a baggage drop available and you can pick your bag up at the finish.
