Run Bournemouth

The scenic half marathon is set in the stunning seaside town of Bournemouth in Dorset. Beginning at the unspoilt beach of Hengistbury Head, you'll join hundreds of runners along the route to finish at Bournemouth Pier.

For the first 5 miles, you'll weave along cliff tops, soaking in amazing panoramic views of Poole Bay. The route then descends down to the seafront, where you'll get more sea views as you head towards Boscombe Pier.

You'll hit a short climb at the 8 mile point, bringing you back up to clifftops to glimpse Bournemouth Pier and Poole. The route then passes the Russell Coates Museum as it continues on to Pier Approach. After running down the wooden boards of Boscombe Pier, you'll loop back for a final stretch along the famous promenade and Bournemouth's iconic beach.

A final section along Bournemouth Pier will then take you to the spectacular finish line at Bournemouth Pier Approach.
