Join us for Run Dorney Lake Half Marathon, 10k & 5k on 17th January 2027
Run at the home of London 2012’s Olympic rowing events. Dorney Lake sits near the village of Dorney in Buckinghamshire, with wide water views and smooth paths that create a calm, PB-friendly setting. Choose your distance and enjoy clear wayfinding, friendly marshals, and a lively finish beside the lake.
The course is flat from start to finish, ideal for confident pacing over 5K, 10K, or the Half Marathon. Chip timing records every second, and you will round off your morning with refreshments and free partner goodies in the event village.

Dorney Lake is situated near the village of Dorney in Buckinghamshire, is a purpose-built rowing lake with grounds that are a perfect backdrop to running as well as rowing. The flat course is ideal for a chip-timed personal best over the 5k or 10k or Half Marathon distance.

Free parking is available at Dorney Lake and will be signposted as you enter the venue. Please bear in mind there could be up to a 20-minute walk to registration depending upon which car park you find yourself in so we advise you to leave plenty of time for arrival. Nearest Train stations: Slough and Windsor & Eton Riverside

CUT OFF
Everyone is welcome, Dorney is a great place for beginners as well as more experienced triathletes.
However, due to venue time restrictions, we must be off site by 13:30 so athletes must be finished by 13:00.
MINIMUM AGES
Standard Duathlon - 17 years old and above
Super Sprint & Sprint Duathlon - 15 years old and above
BAGGAGE
We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.
Duathletes will be able to keep their bags to the side of the secure transition area.
TOILETS
There will be portaloos available in the event village next to the boathouse. The toilets are a short distance from the transition area.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be a water station available on each lap of the 5k course (at around the 2.5km mark). There will also be a bottle of water waiting for you at the finish line. We recommend bringing your own water with you to stay hydrated in the lead up to the event and running with a hydration where possible.
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.

Yes, there will be water provided every lap and at the finish.

Headphones/earphones are not prohibited but strongly recommended against. Please be aware of pedestrians, cyclists, and dogs while running.
