Vindolanda is an amazing venue to have a race - hilly and tough, but worth the effort due to the location and the great medal at the end - not bad at all for a midweek race

Both times I ran this race it was a boiling hot summer evening, personally I prefer when its boiling hot so it suited me! starts with a gradual incline on the first km, then turns left & youre Running downhill for about 3 or 4 Kms, then it changes into a brutally hard uphill until you hit about 9k mark then its a nice stroll into the finish at the Vindolanda Roman fort, enjoyable race & definitely a good one to get fit! All on road surface & decent Medal.
