Route information
Experience breathtaking views of the Perthshire countryside in this autumn running event, taking place over the weekend of the 12th-13th of October. Based at Loch Rannoch, a stunning freshwater loch surrounded by forest and rolling hills, runners can take on a 10k, half marathon or marathon. All routes begin and end in Weller Poley Park in Kinloch, offering amazing waterfront views of the loch.
The marathon consists of a full lap of the loch, heading along both its south shore and north shore and passing through Camghouran, Aulich, Finnart and Bridge of Gaur. The route is slightly undulating.
The half marathon goes as far as Bridge of Gaur on the loch's south shore before heading back to Kinloch, whilst the 10k loops back round at Carie. These routes are flatter and make for faster courses, ideal for those looking to hit a new PB.
It is easy to stay hydrated throughout this race as there are water stations located at every third mile of the course.
