Route description
The race begins at the unique ArcelorMittal Orbit Tower, one of the park's most unique attractions. Runners will then loop around the enormous Olympic Stadium - the site of Mo Farah and Usain Bolt's track heroics - and along the waterfront with views toward the Lee Valley VeloPark.
The route is 2.5km long - 5k runners will complete it twice with 10km participants doing it four times.
Course marshals will be stationed at all crucial points throughout the race and there are refreshment stations on the course.
Schedule
09:00 10k Wave 1 start (55 minute cut-off)
10:00 10k Wave 2 start (90 minute cut-off)
12:00 5k start (45 minute cut-off)
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the race in order to complete the registration process in good time.
*Entrants will be given further race day information closer to the time.
Spectators are strongly encouraged to come along and recreate the immense atmosphere of the London 2012 games.
The looped nature of the course allows supporters to catch numerous glimpses of the runners with the spectacular Olympic backdrop.
RunThrough are always looking for new volunteers to help out with a variety of jobs including course marshalling, bag storage, and manning refreshment stations.
As a thank you, RunThrough offers free entry into one of their races for volunteers.

Tube/Train: The closest train stations are Statford or Stratford International, which are a 13 and 12 minute walk to the park respectively. Alternatively, you can get the overground to Hackney Wick which is around a 10 minute walk to the park.
Bus: Regular buses services run from Central London into Stratford City bus station.
Car: There is paid parking available in the Westfield Stratford City.
