Route description
Route description

This Christmas themed 5k and 10k will show London 2012 Olympic Park in all its glory.

Participants will run right around the immense Olympic Stadium where GB's Greg Rutherford won gold in long jump on Super Saturday.

Participants will also pass the unique and impressive ArcelorMittal Orbit Tower designed by Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond for the Games.

Get a chance to see these iconic landmarks more than was as the course is a loop with 5km athletes completing it twice and 10km runners doing it four times.

Course marshals will be on-site to direct you throughout the duration of the race.

By Tube/Train:

Public transport is the best way to get to and from the Park – by train, underground, bus or bicycle.

The closest train stations are Statford or Stratford International, which are a 13 and 12 minute walk to the park respectively. Alternatively, you can get the overground to Hackney Wick which is around a 10 minute walk to the park.

If you are exiting out of Stratford Underground Station – take escalator or lift up to ‘The Street’ (which is the outdoor part of Westfield Shopping Centre) – follow it along, bear right at Fountain Square toward John Lewis and then left at Jamie’s Italian. At the end of the passage, cross the road into the Park.

By Bus:

Regular buses services run from Central London into Stratford City bus station. Stratford bus station and Stratford City bus station are both located in close proximity to Stratford station

Parking
