Route information
You will take to the wide flat footpaths around Clapham Common, with the 5k consisting of 2 laps and the 10k consisting of 4 laps.
This course will be clearly way-marked with arrows and distance markers to show you have how you have come. There will also be marshals stationed throughout the course to guide you in the right direction as well as cheer you on your way.

Get full directionsIt is recommended that participants walk, cycle, or use public transport to travel to the event. Race HQ will be located approximately 100m east of the bandstand.
Parking
There is no on-site parking. Participants will have to check the surrounding roads for pay machines and watch for permit areas.
By Public Transport
Clapham Common Tube and Clapham South Tube are a short 5-minute walk from the start line.
Clapham Junction train station is approximately 1 mile from the common, so participants can either walk or take the 35, 37 or 345 buses.
Event day logistics

*Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of your race to allow plenty of time to register, attach your race number, deposit any bags at the bag drop, and warm up.
Race Pack
Race Packs must be collected on the day of the event, before the start of your race, from registration. Please be aware that you will not receive anything in the post.
Age Requirements
Runners for the 5k must be aged 11 or over, runners for the 10k must be aged 15 or over.
Bag Drop
There will be a secure area where bags can be left, though it is recommended that you bring as little baggage as possible. Your bag tag is attached to your race number which you can tear off and attach to your bag.
Refreshments
There will be water stations at each lap of the race as well as at the finish.
Headphones
It is not recommended that you wear headphones during the race so you stay alert to what is going on around you and hear the encouragement from marshals and spectators. There will also be pedestrians on the paths you'll be running who you'll need to be aware of.
