Enjoyed the Wimbledon half marathon, greater signage and marshalling on the course. Good atmosphere at start. Would recommend.

Really enjoyed the course on Wimbledon common, and then went into town and through Raynes Park. The run was good and well marked, people and volunteers were friendly. However, running through Wimbledon village whilst a market was on was a bit difficult

The organization was excellent. The volunteers were great and did a good job. The number of participants was around 290 so considering it was not a traffic free course there was no issue with crowd. The only heads up I would mention is that despite the claim by the organisers that it is a flat course, it is not. You go through a rather steep climb twice and the second time will hurt those who are not well prepared. Overall thumbs up.

The route was 300m short of half marathon distance which is extremely annoying (and inexcusable), and there was a lack of marshals in the last 3k.

Good course, my only comment is that quite of the marshals had gone by the time I came around for the 2nd time.

Well organised, bit tricky with the roads not closed. Pretty nasty hill too that you have to do twice given its a two lap course. Good fun overall.

Managed a good atmosphere despite being a mid sized pack for this kind of event. This was a good course in the main - I am not fast so please bear this in mind. You can get a good few miles under your belt before hitting a hill (two laps mean you get the joy of it twice). The only course issues were that you run through the high street twice. Early on with more runners around you it was ok but the second lap was rammed with people with dogs who were focussed on paninis rather than tired runners. I ran in the road in the end in the traffic. The last mile was also a bit hard with tired legs because it was back on the green and the path was knobbly and a little like you were never going to get there with the twists and turns! Other than that it was all very well run, plenty of toilets for the number of people there which is always a blessing, husband reported the coffee was good for non running companions and most of the marshals were very encouraging.

Course distance for half marathon was wrong. Both mine and my sister’s watched recorded 12.9 miles. Disappointing.

Great event but the course didn’t register as half marathon on strava - I had to keep running for 0.3 miles after the finish which was a little disappointing.

It is a flat course, the weather was lovely so this helped. I ran with my brother for the first time so I will never forget this one!
