Somerley Estate will take you away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, with the beautiful and tranquil surroundings allowing you to switch off and enjoy your challenge.

Situated on the Hampshire Dorset border, the many acres of parkland create a perfect venue for a trail running event, and if you're lucky you may even spot deer and pheasants on your way around, as well as views of the majestic Somerley House.

Whether you're new to trail running or an experienced veteran, this 5k & 10k event will cater to all levels. An exact route will be made available closer to the event date.

The event also includes a 2k Kid's Run which will be free to enter on the day, making this a wonderful day out for the whole family.

Age Restrictions

All entrants must be 11 and older to enter the 5k, 15 and older to enter the 10k, and 17 and older to enter the Half Marathon.

Kid's Run

The 2k Kid's Run will be free to enter on the day of the event.

Race Packs

Entrants who have entered in good time will have their race packs sent in the post 10 days before event day.

Those who have entered in the 10 days before race day will collect their race pack at registration on the day of the event.

If your race pack hasn't arrived, head to the registration desk at race HQ and you can be issued with a new one.

A full set of race instructions will be sent via email before the event.

Course was good, very glad they put in another water station due to the heat (was needed) Clear signage from road on how to get to the race would have been a massive help. Nice if person on the tannoy said when everyone came through the finish, bit of shame to finish and not know how well you did or not. (First male/female of 5/10k/half etc) Pictures could have been a lot better. Difficult to find if you don’t have the app. Parking was good

Organisation was a complete shambles. Once on the estate, there was no signage to say there to go. Public cars using the same path as runners was down right dangerous! The race should have been called off!! The UK was issued with a red weather warning!!Getting out of the estate was also confusing due to lack of signage.There was very few marshals…. Recommended more next time!

Badly signed posted directions to the event. Site was not safe due to filming going on within the estate. We were promised an email explaining what went wrong ,no email was received.

Hi This is only helpful suggestions to make it better. There was no results on the day. I was an age group winner and would have been nice to have known on the day and how about a discount off the next event for all age group winners as a prize. Plus the course was more than 10k this would have bothered some people as they like to compare race on race. Have the children’s race on a slightly separate course as it held up the main event. Standing around in the heat was uncomfortable. Directions to get into the venue were not signed. We came in the normal way as local to the area. My husband who was watching said that the first person who came over the finish line was not acknowledged. On the plus side atmosphere was good and relaxed and good signage on run and marshals friendly. Plenty of loos. Overall sure it will be better next time. Thanks for sending the age group trophy nice gesture.

There was confusion among the organisers on the day as the venue was being shared with a film crew. This resulted in congestion and delay in the start. Signage regarding the car park and exit was non existent on the day.

Such a great run, the weather was a bit hot but the organisers did everything to put the runners health first with extra water stations and changing race times.
