Route information
The course will be utilising the Denham Flats route (road route) which is a 6.55 mile out and back sociable loop. On this course you leave the centre and go out through the Barrow Village towards Denham. At around 3km you will see Ely Cathedral in the distance. You will also get the chance to run past the deer farm.
This is a super easy course to navigate, it is however important to note the tricky crossing near the corner by the shops due to parked cars.
You will have 6 hours to complete as many laps as you can, and if you're lucky maybe a little bit more because if you leave the base camp before 5:59:59, you can complete one more lap!
But don't be alarmed by this long time limit, this event is for runners of all abilities. This could be a great opportunity to run your first 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, Marathon or even Ultra Marathon. You can run as few or as many laps as you wish, resting between laps or pushing yourself through the whole 6 hours.
For those more experienced athletes looking to really push themselves, this is a brilliant opportunity to run a long distance with no other complications, no navigation, no kit required and with feed stations every lap.
Whether you are looking to run your 1st 10k, or your 50th Marathon, the brilliant Zig Zag Running team will cheer you all the way around.
