Route information
Terrain: Paths & Trail Elevation: Flat
This is a lapped course around the beautiful, 55-hectare Glasgow Green, Glasgow's oldest park. The 5k runners will finish their race in one lap and the 10k runners in two, making this a fast and easy-to-follow route. Half marathon participants will complete 4 laps of the course, with an additional 1.1k section.
Starting at the monument of Nelson's Column, the course weaves through an impressive green space, passing many iconic sites. There will be marshals stationed throughout the course to direct runners in the right direction.
This race aims to raise money for Shelter, whose mission is to help solve the current housing epidemic across the country.

A very well-organised event with a good vibe - felt there could have been more stalls etc tho for such a big event!

Really enjoyed it, the Marshalls were friendly and the set up professional. My only bug was I wish the 10k and 5k had different bib colours or a more delayed start. We had a fairly clear course which then got a lot busier and trickier to get around people with tired legs! But that's nit picking, I'll be back every year!

Only issue was the way the organisers released the different races. I was in the half marathon and got bogged down by the 10k release. If it could be done in a way to let the 10k people disperse a bit before mixing with the other races it would be better
