The 5k will begin near the Bayside Cabin Café. From there runners will cover an out and back route along the promenade and onto a country path around Fort Gilkicker.
The majority of the route is on concrete paths apart from a few metres on a shingle pathway.

There is car parking available along the sea front, but please pay attention to any parking restrictions and remember to pay the appropriate rate where applicable.

The closest railway station is Portsmouth Harbour and the promenade is served by local buses.

Please ensure that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the race in order to drop your bag and complete the registration process.
Age Requirements
Runners must be 11 and older to enter the 5k.
Bag Drop
Runners may leave their personal belongings with the race organisers while they run.
Race Pack
Race packs will be collected on the day. Race headquarters will be located close to Bayside Cabin Café. This is where you'll pick up your race pack, leave your bag and can ask any last minute questions.

Your timing chip is incorporated into your race number and should not be removed. Please place the race number on the front of your vest/shirt and not on your leg or back.

Absolutely! Choose the 3 or 5 part series entry when you book this event and take home a free t-shirt after the 5th event. Please note that 5 single entries do not include a free T-shirt.
