Such a stunning course with amazing views of the sea. The run also goes past a castle. Really well ran event and very friendly atmosphere. Would recommend!

The organisers had to battle with the storm forecasts and consequently changed the route just 24 hours before the start. It was certainly more challenging than I had expected but really pleased they avoided a potential cancellation of the event.

I had never done a half marathon before but I was made to feel very welcome from registration to running over the finish line. The whole event was well organized and the course was amazing. The views were incredible and the support from local spectators was immense and I look forward to doing this event again soon

Ran my first Anglesey Half back in 2017 with some friends. Now the weather wasn’t great but in all honesty it didn’t make any difference whatsoever! Stunning course, amazing scenery and a quick course too! I’ve run 18 Half’s and this is still the seconds fastest I’ve ever run a Half Marathon. The start on Menai Bridge really is something else too. Couldn’t recommend this higher as a ‘must do’! You won’t regret it!..........Roll on my second attempt in a few weeks :)

I have run this half marathon twice, 2nd time with a pb. It's a stunning start on the Menai bridge with a steep downhill start which levels out into one of my favourite half marathon courses. Highly recommended.

Way back in 2017, I ran this event with 3 mates and it was absolutely superb! The rain came down from start to finish and at one point I could have done with a canoe rather than a pair of running shoes but it still couldn't take the shine off a brilliant day. The course is amazing with stunning views as you run down towards Beaumaris before coming back on yourself to a heroes welcome back in Menai Bridge. There were loads of spots out on the course as well for my partner and my 2 little uns to cheer us on - they made painted signs with "Go Daddy Go!" written all over them! One of the best things in the world ever, FACT! I had other runners asking me if I was Daddy and telling me to "Go, Daddy Go!!" - and to top it all I ran my fastest ever half marathon! The support from the crowd and the volunteers was awesome and I was so chuffed when I crossed that line. There was loads of food at the feed stations throughout the course too - although it was a shame to see so many cups in the bins back then. The t-shirt and medal were brilliant too, I even got a massive bag of crisps which is always a winner!Without a doubt a day I will never forget and an achievement that will stay with me forever

Sole representative for Widnes Running Club - parking was easy to find & bag drop/collection quick & easy. Really pleasant route (even with the horrid weather!) & enjoyed the profile of the course. Marshals were great & race was really well organised overall. Have already recommended it to several & will definitely return in the future, 10/10!

Absolutely amazing event... Well organized friendly and supportive Marshalls and just such a beautiful scenic route

Loved the event - though first mile or so the route was too cramped on narrow lane.Splitting hairs - but better to keep moving immediately after finish where drinks and oranges welcome but slowish queue
